Hello, project Cheval

Hello
Project Cheval, my attempt to do a 12*12 album just about how much I miss my old ponny. Well here is another layout. The album is actually coming together it´s just my lack of inspiration and love for my blog that hinders you from seeing it... How ever I´m here today to share the layout Hello and the process video for it
On this layout I started with a sand colored cardstock and some white paint through a Heidi Swapp stencil. I wanted a calm page but with allot of pattern, sound very logical right.
But by only having the pattern as a mat to this photo i work, well that and the fact that this photo is very calm and hardly as any colors. So that the papers and the photo doesn´t competes whit each other. The papers I used are from a Dear Lizzy 6*6 pad "Polka Dot Party"

There is not allot of embellishments on this page, just a few chipboard pieces from Crate Paper "Craft Market" and some word stickers from Maggie Holmes Confetti.

I really like how this page came together even though I can see some thing I would like to have done differently, like the price-ribbon... But on the hole I like it and now I want to get more sand colored cardstock!

Mini Album from start to finish!

Hello
making a mini is supposed to be fun, easy and QUICK! Here is my go-to album that you can use as a jumping of point.

Here is a peak in my finished album and how you can decorate it.

Whit this binding you can be so creative and really have fun whit it. On the other hand if you want a more neat and clean binding try the D-ring.
And here we have the album from the video:

It´s so easy to put together an album whit a paperpad, it will always look cohesive and thought through.

I hope you like the idea and that you got a bit of inspiration

Darling Svea

I think of scrapbooking as serving two interests; memory keeping and crating art. This layout is purely for the second reason
.

I had so much fun playing with different textures and Pink & Gold
The embellishments are from different collections from Crate Paper and the title are a clear word from Confetti.
Sewing down the tissue-ruffles is the cutest thing I´ve done in a long time I think I have to do that more... allot more...
Gold is a big trend now and I love the warm metallic and here I have a gold ribbon, stickers, chipboard and the star vellum.
I think this layout was so much fun making and makes me happy to look at so I put it in a black Prima frame.

So if you are planing to scrapbook today, make a layout just for fun, with fun techniques and pretty colors. oh and gold!

Love Julia
